Who is Actually Using IE6?

As a follow-up to my previous post I’d like to compile a list of who (corporations) are still having to use IE6 and why?

NOTE: I’m not creating a wall of shame, I just want to know who uses IE6 and why. I’m interested in why people, companies and governments continue to use the browser, and which products and systems require it’s continued usage. Who is the 5%?

  2. slieschke answered: My flatmate works for Vodafone NZ. They are forced to because of internal apps they use that are only tested/supported with IE 6.
  3. hanney answered: Europe’s largest engineering firm still only allows IE6 - tech support told me I had to uninstall firefox/chrome/ie8 recently.. my my.
  4. taf answered: I access from ADHB sometimes, in the beginning I think it was IE6… so I downloaded Chrome
